BOA ESPERANÇA CARAVEL 2009

The trips on the Boa Esperança caravel, first event of the 2009/2010 winter season took place on the 13th and 16th October.

As usual, both trips were sold out quickly and those who came were offered fine, sunshiny days. The wind was weak, but spirit on board not at all!

The experienced crew, whom we thank for their friendliness, gave us a warm welcome and gave us all the chance to steer and set the sail, giving us a hint of sailing in the 15th century was like.

The ‘9 Months, 9 Events’ winter program continues on the 12th and 13th November, with the Portuguese cuisine class.
