Carnival parade and regatta

Despite the poor weather conditions, with lots of clouds, some showers and little wind, the Carnival Parade and Regatta took place on the 19th February, with the support of South Bar in Marina de Lagos.

Participation expectations were widely exceeded and 14 boats entered, among old and more recent Marina’s guests. Boats were dressed up as were some more expansive boaties!

The boats paraded along the canal and, right after that, a small race took place, won by “Ruby Tuesday”, with “Fine Things” coming second and “Sula” coming third. To wrap it up, Carnival prizes were given in South Bar.

The success of this event was, once more, due to the help and cheerfulness of participants.
