Exhibition by Kasia Wrona and Henryka Woerle
An exhibition of the works of Kasia Wrona and Henryka Woerle is taking place in the Marina de Lagos gallery (Núcleo Gil Eanes, shops 4 and 5), next to J pontoon.
Kasia Wrona finished her studies in the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, in the Graphic Department in Katowice, Poland, and graduated with a distinction.
She paints, draws, designs, creates installations, performances and video films. For her, art is a spiritual process and experience.
Kasia lives and works on the Algarve's west coast, near Lagos, enjoying the crystal clear light of the region. Her paintings are powerful and contain meaningful layers with figurative and abstract elements.
Henryka Woerle was born in Wroclaw, Poland.
Between 1974 and 1979 she studied painting, graphic arts and sculpture in the Fine Arts Academy of Wroclaw.
Since 1976 she as taken parallel courses in glass designing.
Her sculptures combine creativity and technical ability, expressing her dreams and fantasies. She lives and works in Carvoeiro.
