Painting exhibition by José Fortunato

Marina de Lagos announces "Ó mar salgado...", a painting exhibition of 20 oil paintings by José Fortunato, taking place in the Marina's gallery room from the 23rd July to the 14th August (Wednesday to Sunday, 5 to 9 p.m.).

José Fortunato is an autodidact, having started painting with pastel, and using oil paint since 1997. The sea, the country and the traditions are his main inspirations. Lagos made a great impression on him during his youth and therefore he chose it for his first exhibition, having returned more than once.

The result of the sales will be donated in full to a local social welfare association, the CASLAS - Centro de Assistência Social Lucinda Anino dos Santos.

The exhibition will be open from July 23rd to August 14th at the Marina de Lagos' Gallery. Opening times 5 to 9 p.m., Tuesday to Sunday.
